Samsung Galaxy Xcover is the recent announced GSM phone by Samsung. This device is for those who use phone roughly it is dust and water proof (up to 1m for 30 mins). It runs in both Network 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) and 3G (HSDPA 900 / 2100). Phone is equipped with Gorilla Glass display 3.65 inches touchscreen having 16M colors, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Touch-sensitive controls, TouchWiz UI, Multi-touch input method and Proximity sensor for auto turn-off.
Samsung Galaxy Xcover has all type of connectivity features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, v2.0 microUSB, GPRS, EDGE and 3G. In 3G it can access high speed up to 7.2Mbps. Phone is also equipped with many social networking apps such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk, Picasa etc.
The handset has latest Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread) which operats phone very smoothly. Device also has huge storage up to 32GB microSD, it can store unlimited call records, unlimited contacts, Images, Songs, Videos and other stuffs.
With 3.2 Mega Pixel camera users can get nice quality of photos and videos. Camera has such features as LED flash, Geo-tagging, Image/video editor and resolution 2048×1536 pixels.
